Founded by Laura Johnson in 2015 and opened to the public in 2017, You & Yours is California’s first urban destination distillery located in San Diego. Utilizing a custom-built hybrid eau de vie still, You & Yours strives to not only provide high-quality, transparent spirits made with sustainable practices and top-notch ingredients, but also a welcoming and enjoyable tasting experience for all. Today, all You & Yours spirits and canned cocktails can be found not just behind the bar and in retailers across California, but also throughout the United States. You & Yours was created for the purpose of bringing people together over elevated imbibing experiences, which became the foundation for the distillery’s name: by You & Yours, for you and yours.

About Laura Johnson, Owner & Founder
With a passion for distilling, a natural talent for building and highlighting flavors, and her innate hospitality and business prowess, Laura is a strong voice and advocate in the spirits industry.


Since launching You & Yours Distilling Co. in 2017, Laura has been named a 2018 Eater Young Gun, made it onto the 2018 Forbes “30 Under 30” list, and has won Best Local Spirit or Distillery by San Diego Magazine each year since 2017. Laura has also become an invaluable resource and inspiration for other new small businesses looking to penetrate the beverage and hospitality industries.

COCKTAIL RECIPES

DO YOU WANT THAT SPICY?
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Sunday Gin
0.75 oz grapefruit cordial*
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz cucumber juice
Pinch of sea salt
Topo Chico, or other sparkling water of choice
4 dashes of Serrano bitters (optional)
Add all ingredients except sparkling water to a
shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Add a splash
of sparkling water into shaker and strain over
fresh ice into a tall Collins glass. Garnish with a
cucumber ribbon.
*Grapefruit cordial
1 c sugar
1 c fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
Bring sugar and grapefruit juice to a boil, stirring until
sugar dissolves. Strain into sealed container and store in
the refrigerator for up to one week.
