The Bourbon is distilled form 55% corn, 20% rye, 20% wheat and 5% malt. The bourbon is aged in new American white oak barrels for 4 years and finish aged on toasted white chips.

THE DISTILLERY
John Emerald Distilling is a small batch craft distillery located in beautiful downtown Opelika, Alabama. We offer tours, cocktails, and bottle sales in house as well as distribute our spirits throughout Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, New York, California, Colorado, and Illinois.
We are proud of our heritage. From the original three Sharp brothers who ventured to America from Scotland to the namesake of our company, John Emerald Sharp, the Sharps have lived lives of integrity: honoring God, their fellow man and their family. So when it came time to name our distillery, the idea to honor our forefathers in name and spirit rang true.

Nose- Leather and sandalwood
Palate- sweet corn a caramel.
Finish- oak and smoke.

The Golden Cherry -
1.5oz Purveyor’s Bourbon, .75oz honey, .5oz lemon juice. Shake over ice, top off with ginger ale, and garnish with a cherry.
The Bonfire -
2oz Purveyor’s Bourbon, .75oz Elizabeth Pecan Liqueur, 2 dashes cherry bitters. Serve in a smoked glass.
