Unicorn Distillery embodies that entrepreneurial spirit. Our product proudly harmonizes tradition with innovation to create something fun, new and completely unique. We’ve created a corn vodka and agave tequila that naturally change color — with no sugar and zero carbs — and we’re making it in small batches, in a family-owned distillery in Seattle, WA. Our color-changing tequila and vodka cocktails are designed to disrupt expectations and inspire the, “What if?” As the world’s #1 producer of all-natural, color-changing vodka and tequila, it’s our goal to inspire the risk-taker within U.

Founders Rick and Alaina Hewitt wanted to create a beverage that celebrates the changemaker in all of us. Alaina brings her marketing, event planning and restaurant industry knowledge to the table, creating a brand we can all see ourselves in. Pioneering is in Rick’s blood as a third-generation entrepreneur and 10-year veteran of the alcohol beverage industry, having worked on craft brewery and craft cider projects before starting Unicorn Distillery from his garage.

COCKTAIL

UNICORN MARGARITA
When you say tequila, we say margarita. Take tequila’s favorite cocktail to the next level by using color-changing tequila, a special spirit made with butterfly pea flower that starts as a brilliant blue shade and changes colors as you add in your mixers.

Ingredients:

2 ounces Unicorn Butterfly Pea Tequila
½ ounce triple sec*
1-ounce lime juice (about 1 whole lime)
Kosher salt for rim (optional)
Lime wedge (optional)
Instructions
Fill a shaker with ice. Add Unicorn Butterfly Pea Tequila, triple sec, then squeeze in lime juice — but don’t toss the lime. Shake for 10 seconds. If you’d like a salted rim, grab the juiced lime and rub it along the rim. Dip the rim into kosher salt. Pour the shaker contents into the glass. Garnish with a lime.
