1 / Mix
A variety of hand- selected American oak is combined with a high-proof neutral grain spirit.

2 / Thermal Extraction
By modulating the heat and pressure in the still, we imitate the barrel aging process seen in traditional spirits, over multiple years, in a matter of hours.

3 / Cooling
The intensely flavored high-proof oak-infused spirit cools in preparation for the next phase.

4 / Reverse Distillation
The reverse distillation process separates ethanol from our Kentucky 74 distillate. The ethanol is then removed and repurposed for the next batch; we call this our “regenerative ingredient.”

The distillate that remains in the still is non- alcoholic. This is where Kentucky 74 is born.

5 / Blending
Just like a fine craft Bourbon, Kentucky 74 is blended by selecting specific totes from various distillations, each with a unique character. Our distiller selects the perfect combination of totes to create Kentucky 74, a smooth, balanced spirit with hints of caramel, vanilla, and oak.

6 / Bottling
After blending to perfection, Kentucky 74 is ready for bottling. Our bottles are then filled and capped with our hand-stained red mahogany cork stopper.

We have a business to run and a brand to build, up-and-comers to mentor, and movers and shakers to meet. We crave date night days and dance party days, but balance busting a move with early-bird-gets-the-worm days.

That’s why we believe: less is yes.
Spiritless is our solution to saying yes to more — and more often. It reflects our roots in hospitality, high-end spirits and, of course, our beloved, bourbon-soaked hometown, Louisville. Yet it’s at the forefront of the no-and-low-proof cocktail movement. Lexie Lancaster Larsen is a sixth-generation entrepreneur whose roots run deep within both manufacturing and production and bourbon. Passionate about building businesses from the ground up, Spiritless is the third female-founded company Lexie has had the opportunity to grow.

 

TASTING NOTES

The finished product is an elegant and herbaceous reposado spirit - minus the burn of alcohol. Sniff, and you'll catch a whiff of sweet agave, zesty citrus, fresh sweet mint, and just a touch of cinnamon. Sip, and you'll taste hints of honey, spicy oak, vanilla, and delicate pepper.

Perfect Pairings
Our reposado-style spirit is best enjoyed in your go-to classic tequila cocktails, like Margaritas and Palomas. Or, go HALFSIES™ blended in a 1:1 ratio with your favorite tequila for an option with less alcohol and fewer calories.

 

COCKTAILS

Spiritless Avocado Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz Spiritless Jalisco 55

1 oz Orange Liquor (For NA option try DHOS Orange)

1.5 oz Agave Nectar

¼ Avocado

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

1 tbsp Hibiscus Salt

Recipe:
Mix all the ingredients in a blender with ¾ cup of ice and blend until smooth. Serve in a margarita glass lined with hibiscus salt.
