About Steve
Steve Miles was a jokester, an adventurer, a mentor, and a friend. He was a wine importer who specialized in Spain, with a particular passion for sparkling Cava. Steve loved wines that were "overachievers at a great value," in his words. And like the wines Steve loved, he was bold and celebratory. He loved skiing and scuba-diving, sharing a laugh with friends and telling anyone willing to listen about a new bottle he tried.

Steve died due to complications of ALS in 2018. Through it all, he fought with humor, ferocity, and an unstoppable joy for life that extended from the glass to photographing marine life to riding his Harley through the Rockies.


About Gina
Gina Fugina worked side by side with Steve Miles for eight years as operations manager of Steve Miles Selections. Today, she continues to import the Spanish wines Steve loved to U.S. markets through her company, Able Beverage. Inspired by her daily chats with Steve and their shared passion for the business and experience of wine, her growing portfolio is focused on high quality of certified organic, certified vegan and biodynamic wines. Able Beverage has distribution in more than 15 states including California, New York, Georgia, Colorado, Maine, and New Jersey.

TASTING NOTES

• Soft pink to the eye, this wine offers a steady barrage of delicate bubbles and aromas of green pear, almond blossom and brioche. It is delicate in the mouth, with flavors of canned peach, dried apricot, honeysuckle, pie crust and baking spice.
