Our Maestro Mezcalero, Israel Palestino, harvests Espadin agaves by hand on hillsides at an elevation of approximately 4,000 feet. This very limited Ancestral Mezcal is fermented and distilled in clay pots, a unique process that gives it a distinct earthy flavor. Despite its 100 proof, Dos Boots Mezcal Espadin Ancestral is incredibly smooth on the palate, with a soft clay earthy flavor and a subtle sweet-flowery finish that makes it highly enjoyable.
