A true American rye whiskey, Crater Lake Straight American Rye revives the tradition of pre-prohibition small town family brands. Distilled from 100% rye grain then aged in American Oak to a rich honey color, this classic spirit starts smooth with notes of creamy toffee and vanilla, followed by peppery spices and a soft oak character.

It was 1996, and all we wanted to do was live in the mountains and make great spirits. Over the years, that spark grew into a passion for making the best tasting spirits with the most natural ingredients available. Today, Crater Lake Spirits is one of Oregon’s oldest and largest distilleries serving up traditional spirits with spirited infusions.

COCKTAILS

Espresso Old Fashioned

2 oz Crater Lake Rye Whiskey
.75 oz Crater Lake Hazelnut Espresso Vodka
3 dashes of Angostura or coffee bitters
Mix ingredients in cocktail mixing glass with ice, and stir 25-30 times to dilute. Strain over fresh ice; garnish with an orange peel, twisted over the glass and rubbed around the rim.
